Animal Enrichment Family Fun Day
Join us for a day filled with Enrichment, games, and animals! Animal Enrichment Family Fun day is the best day of the year to come to do the Zoo and learn all there is to know about enrichment.
Learn how enrichment differs from animal to animal. Discover how these techniques create healthy happy animals. Experience great info from the mouths of the experts themselves as our keepers conduct multiple keeper chats throughout the day and the zoo!
Take a break between chats with games and activities with the whole family! This event is included with general admission and free for members. We can’t wait to see you!
Be sure to check back on this page for an updated keeper chat schedule.
Just what is Animal Enrichment?
Enrichment allows animals to demonstrate their species-typical behavior, gives them opportunity to exercise control or choice over their environment and enhances their well-being. Enrichment is just as essential to animal welfare as proper nutrition and veterinary care.
