Tram Tours: 10am – 4:30pm
(weather permitting) $$
Keeper Penguin Presentation: 10am and 3pm
Penguin Feedings: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm $$
Wildlife Carousel: 10am – 4pm $$
Budgie Walkabout Feedings: 10am – 4pm $$
Gift Shop: 9am – 5pm
Rainforest Grill: 10am – 2pm

Where are the animals?
Animal Health & Safety Comes First! Animals have temperature guidelines based off their native habitats to assure healthy living. For this reason, animals may have access to indoor heating or cooling areas as needed. The animals can then make the choice to return to their outdoor exhibit at will.
Zoo Attractions

Weather permitting, most attractions are open daily from 10am – 4pm. Tokens may be purchased at four locations within the zoo for the following attractions:
- Tram Tours
- Paddleboat Rides*
- Giraffe Feeding*
(Feedings from 11am – 3pm while supply lasts)
- Engelbrecht Carousel
- Budgie Walkabout Feeding*
- Penguin Feeding Experience
Each activity other than Penguin Feeding is at least 2 tokens per person. Tokens CANNOT be redeemed for cash or refunded.
In the interest of safety for our animals and yours, this area and others with this sign posted are strictly off limits to service animals. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Restricted areas are as follows:
- Giraffe Feed area
- African Rift (via double doors to view tortoises and sitatunga)
- Penguin Feed area
- Budgie Aviary
- Contact Yard
Service animals can be excluded from areas in a zoo where the animals on exhibit are the natural prey or the natural predator of dogs, where the presence of a dog would be disruptive, causing the animals to behave aggressively or become agitated.
