Join us in welcoming our newest twins, Pretzel (male) and Poppy (female). They are our newest Binturong babies and were born to our resident mom (Vivvy) and dad (Anton). Poppy has a gold patch on her chest and Pretzel has a light underside to his tail. We hear that Poppy is more adventurous, while Pretzel is more laid back. Just look at these faces.
They were born on April 15th and are doing great! Keeper Rachel says they are already more than double their birth weights. We estimate them to start being visible near the end of June, due to nursing and needing to learn to climb. In the wild, they would stay in the nest cavity until they were able to move quickly away from a predator.
