PROGRAM DONATION GUIDELINES
Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden is pleased to consider program donation requests for qualifying organizations in the Evansville area.

that inspire action for our planet.
INTENT
The INTENT of providing donated programs is to:
- Build relationships between the Zoo and its community.
- Encourage community members to connect with their Zoo.
- Facilitate diversity, equity, inclusion, and access to the Zoo.
- Meet our mission through a variety of audiences, venues, and opportunities.
Programs Offered
Only the following types of programs are available for donation:
- In-person programs, onsite or offsite (within 60 mile of the Zoo):
- “About the Zoo” presentations
- “Career Exploration” discussions
- “Zoos & Conservation” discussions
- Biofacts & activities table or booth
- Ambassador animal encounters
- Virtual programs:
- “About the Zoo” discussions
- “Career Exploration” discussions
- “Zoos & Conservation” discussions
- Requests for exhibit tours, zookeeper chats, animal feedings, or behind-the-scenes experiences are not offered for donation.
Eligibility Guidelines
- Requests for donated programs are considered only for not-for-profit organizations.
- The organization must operate within a 120 mile radius of Mesker Park Zoo.
- In-person programs can only be conducted within 60 miles of Mesker Park Zoo.
- Programs requested must be intended for the members / benefactors of the organization.
- Requests for silent auctions, raffles, giveaways, or door prizes will not be considered.
- Requests should demonstrate impact to a charitable cause and fulfill our mission & intent.
- Requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance of date of program.
- Donations are limited to once per calendar year per organization.

Please Note
- Due to the high volume of requests, we regret that we are unable to accommodate all requests that ask for and merit our assistance.
- Program requests will be granted only as schedule and staff availability allows.
- MPZBG reserves the right to deny any donation request.
- Requests are not considered for schools, daycares, individuals, families, or for-profit entities.
- Requests for items to contribute to a not-for-profit organization fundraiser should be made using the online form at https://meskerparkzoo.com/about-us/request-a-donation/
