Penguin Palooza
Apr 1 @ 9:00 AM – Apr 25 @ 4:00 PM
Penguin Palooza is an annual search and find at Mesker Park Zoo. From April 1-April 25, 2025 visitors can search for penguins throughout the zoo and enter to win prizes! There are 26 penguin statues (13 colorful, 13 black) around zoo attractions and animal habitats. Can you find them all?
The 2025 Palooza will end with a Penguin Palooza Party in the front plaza of Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden on April 25, 2025. Celebrate World Penguin Day and the end of Penguin Palooza with us from 10 am- 2 pm. The party will feature penguin-themed activities, keeper chats, story times, and penguin feeding giveaways and is included with zoo admission and free to members.

Our bright, whimsical penguins were made of used bottle caps and donated by GreenTree Plastics of Evansville.
Bottles and caps are single-use plastics that ends up in our waters and on our beaches, harming aquatic life. We encourage you to join us to reduce, reuse, and refuse single-use plastics, and to recycle any plastics you do use. Help us keep our waters clean for aquatic animals like penguins!
